Nationwide Rally Events in Colorado

Welcome to the state headquarters for the "Nation for Change" nationwide rally!!! We are in the process of setting up your headquarters and will soon be posting event info for cities in our state. Please join our group and check back daily for updates. If you have ideas, skills and resources to contribute, feel free to contact us through this Headquarters group space.

IMPORTANT: If you have not done so already, make sure you are registered at http://my.barackobama.com/page/group/NationForChangeYesWeStand. This is how the Obama Headquarters is tracking support for this event, and it is very important that all supporters have registered there.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I admire your dedication to Senator Obama and the campaign, and you all deserve a huge stading ovation from all of Colorado's Obama supporters!

I am making some major adjustments to nationforchange.com so that I can spend the week advertising all of your incredible efforts. Please e-mail me a copy of your flier or rally info ASAP. I currently have the info from Las Vegas, Des Moines, Amarillo-Canyon, Worcester, Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin, Madison, and Los Angeles. I created an animated electronic flier for those cities and want to do the same for you. Please go to Nationforchange.com to check out the updates. We have finished a lot so far and will have the e-fliers up tomorrow. If you need any changes or adjustments to them, please let me know. Comment by Debbie Fischer on March 28, 2008 at 2:49pm: Colorado has their Advance Team set up and in full swing planning the April 19, 2008 Nation for Change Rally at the Civic Center Park Greek Theater. The venue is across the street from the Capital and covers one huge city block. Our committees are set up and full speed ahead covering Program/Speakers (Political, and Sports), Radio and Print advertising, Promotional tables, Local entertainers are being contacted, Sound systems are covered as well. We have Team Members composed of attorneys for legal advise, and finance experts for fundraising events. We are working with the Denver Police Dept. to secure the sight. We are working with a local production company to help us with Video at the event. We hope to have a big screen behind the speakers as a back drop to be used for Dip Dive video or You Tube videos, some of which are currently in production to FIRE UP THE CROWD! We also have a team of College students from UNC, Boulder and Fort Collins college campus to be on Stage and FIRE UP THE CROWD during the event. Did I mention COLORADO HAS A HUGE NETWORK OF VOLUNTEERS WORKING EVERYDAY, IN EVERWAY TO GET FUTURE PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA ELECTED AND MOVE HIM INTO THE WHITE HOUSE?

Also, an ad has been posted on denver.com & one has been submitted to Westword. More later!
