I am being the change by exhibiting a "Yes, We Can" attitude in my daily life. I know quite intimately that the power of Hope can manifest wonders in your life. Barack has inspired me to become a voter registration facilitator to the youth in my community, a campaign participant in my area, and a financial contributor-donating well beyond my means to aide his quest for the Presidency. He speaks my language and his public position for change in American has given me a voice to speak this truth to anyone and everyone who is brave enough to listen.
I've been inspired by:
Obama's personal and political message reflect the courage and faith, I know, it takes to bring about positive change in a person, in America and to the world, at large. In the past, I was disinterested in politics, and voting was not a high priority. This movement caused me to closely examine the cause of my apathy . to get involved even to the point of personal cost, and further, to motivate other to do the same.
Things that matter most to me:
What's important to me is altering the process . I want to trust my government again. I want our country as peacemakers by consideration of ethnical differences and communication, rather than peacekeepers by covert public manipulation and military force. I want the world to be a better place--knowing the change begins in me!!!!
My passions:
My passions are my family, promoting spirtitual and personal growth in myself and others, striving to use the talents God has given me to be the best I can be and advocating, by example, the change I want to see in the world ,
Hi Jerry, I too am an elected Obama delegate to the DNC. How exciting for both of us!-- I too am very proud to have the honor because of the ^0 total Democratic Delegates from Kentucky--there are only 9 Obama delegates of which I am one. I am even more proud that of the 5 total Democratic delegates from my ( the 4th) district Obama received one and I AM IT!!! I understand the struggle to fulfill your delegate obligation because I am busy raising funds for my own trip to Denver. I wish you much luck and I will be looking for you in Denver. Sincerely, Mattie P
My name is Jerry Farmer, and I was elected an Obama National delegate from the great state of Texas, SD 23, Dallas County. As many of you are aware, all delegates will be traveling in a few weeks to Denver, Co for the Democratic National Convention to cast our vote for Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee for next United States President.
I am reaching out to you to help support me in these efforts as well as help support my campaign funding. So, as many of you already know, that entails fundraising. Not just any old fundraising event though, something that will show the world how many people lives have been touched by the senator. I want to capture this monumental occasion, not just for me, but also for those who contribute to my journey. With that, ½ of the donations received will be presented to Barack’s national campaign at the convention, with a list of all the names that contributed; to show how many people came together to unite the party. No donation is too small, or too big, and all donations are appreciated.
I have set up a pay pal account where you can submit your donations directly. If you have already have a pay pal account, you can conveniently transfer funds to:jerry_farmer_mpa@yahoo.com. If not, there is also a convenient way to donate by credit card as well, just follow the directions on the donation page.
Please copy and paste the below link to your web address, and it will take you straight to the donations page. (You may be able to click the link)
