How I am BEING THE CHANGE:
This summary is about people needing to find there way to a better path. For sixteen years of my life, I actually set back and realized how the world is becoming so devastating. Life now is extremely cruel. USA had 911-twin towers crash with the attack, sadly many people died, Hurricane Katrina, they lost sadly there homes, family, and there land, The war in Iraq, lots of people pasted away and lost lots of there loved ones, Poor people in Africa, have no food and catching diseases that’s killing them, and lots more people that are homeless and people that have diseases that are dying from this. This is insane! People need to change there negative ways to positive. Understand life is complicated and we have to understand to come as one and help each other out, as if it was a lost one of there own. Is there a way from the darkness to the light? Someone tell me…

My name is Jerry Farmer, and I was elected an Obama National delegate from the great state of Texas, SD 23, Dallas County. As many of you are aware, all delegates will be traveling in a few weeks to Denver, Co for the Democratic National Convention to cast our vote for Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee for next United States President.

I am reaching out to you to help support me in these efforts as well as help support my campaign funding. So, as many of you already know, that entails fundraising. Not just any old fundraising event though, something that will show the world how many people lives have been touched by the senator. Hope and a positive attitude about our future under an Obama presidency is what keeps my spirits lifted. As Bill Moyers states in his book Moyers on Democracy "When the state becomes the guardian of power and privilege to the neglect of justice for the people as a whole, it mocks the very concept of government as procaimed in the preamble to our Constitution; mocks Lincoln's sacred belief in 'government of the people, by the people, and for he people'...."

This ideal of "government of the people, by the people, and for the people" I believe lays at the very core of what obama believes good goverance to be.

That is why I truly believe that the "fierce urgency of now" demands an Obama presidency.
